I am a husband and father of 2 and have been working from my home office for 5 years. I am a former healthcare IT manager turned software developer helping to implement the latest technologies in the healthcare space. Here are a few technologies that I'm experienced in Node.js, React, Elasticsearch, AngularJS, Redux, Docker, Kubernetes, FHIR, HL7, CCLF claims data, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Qvera Interface Engine (QIE), Mirth Connect Interface Engine, MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Linux/Unix/AIX, and Windows.

I created https://HL7.cc Web based tools to parse HL7 messages, generate test HL7 messages, and show off a proof of concept UI utilizing the FHIR API provided by SMARTHealthIT.org

Facade is a patient browser using the new FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard from HL7. It is an example user experience using the open FHIR endpoints provided by SMARTHealthIT. Facade calls the FHIR API to search for patients as well as fetch patient resources. All FHIR resources for the chosen patient are retrieved and displayed in a list accompanied by a count of resources of that type.
The Mirage tool can be used to generate common healthcare interoperability message types that contain fake data in commonly used fields. This makes it easy to generate data rich test messages when building HL7 interfaces.

Farser allows a user to paste a HL7 message in and then use a UI to easily view and find fields, components, sub-components, and repeating fields quickly and easily.
